Can we please remember to turn back the clock,
When we still loved, before we got caught.
You should have kept striving to make me believe,
That you were my rock, we were lovers not thieves.

There was nothing wrong in what concluded,
I tired of things breaking, my heart included.
I’ve never met a lie as beautiful as thee,
You no longer loved me, you told me bleakly.

Can you not say, that our great divide,
Started as soon as I first arrived?
The fights I fought to win your love,
You’re a huge disappointment, I thought you were tough.

So now it’s time to say our goodbyes.
I’m sick and tired of your lying eyes.
You tell me you care, “You want to be friends”

This was after my obvious exboyfriend broke my heart. I ran into him one day and I got so angry I stayed up all night 4 days in a row and just painted this. My first watercolor people. Yikes it was hard. Thank god it was only in black and white. Color in watercolors is very difficult since I was trained in oil paints, which relies heavily on the color white, whereas watercolors have none.
